What Does A Gas Fireplace Service & Cleaning Include?
Gas fireplace repair, cleaning, and service are at the heart of what we do, and we pride ourselves on providing quick, thorough, dependable work. A complete and thorough service of your gas appliance will include each of the following:
- removal and cleaning of log units
- inspection and testing of all electrical and wiring components
- cleaning of the glass
- removal of any soot buildup or debris within the unit
- test of the blowers to check for optimal run levels
- adjustment of flame height to prevent soot as much as possible
- replacement of rock wool embers in the unit (if necessary & applicable)
- test for carbon monoxide leakage
- final test-fire run
