You will work along side a lead technician to learn the in’s and out’s of the chimney and hearth industry and trade on your way to becoming a lead yourself.
Installers and Inspectors
must be able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers to create a service experience second to none. We are looking for someone who wants to make a career in the chimney and hearth industry and thrives to learn the skills outlined below:
From the service, maintenance, and troubleshooting of existing appliances to full inspection to determine their suitability for continued use Inspectors must have great attention to detail and communication skills. They must learn to understand and navigate the many repair options and limitations that affect when repair or replacement options are possible or not.
From the installation of new stoves, fireplaces, and inserts to the repair and replacement of existing appliances we often dabble in many trades including mechanical and HVAC contractors, drywallers, tile setters, framers, wood workers, painting, masons, plumbers, electricians, etc…
Other skills will be necessary as our trade touches on many other trades. There are many skills to learn as this industry is a never-ending source of learning. As you gain competency, proficiency, and experience the opportunity for additional training, income, and bonuses may apply.
