We Specialize In The Service & Repair Of All Types Of Fireplaces & Stoves
When you invest in a fireplace, stove, or insert for your home, you invest in countless cozy nights of warmth, conversation, and relaxation. But like anything in your home, your hearth appliance requires regular maintenance, cleaning, service, and sometimes repair, in order to perform as safely as possible, at optimal performance levels, for as long as possible.
Here at The Chimney Doctor, our goal is to provide the type of thorough and masterful service that makes it easy to care for your fireplace, stove, or insert, and keep everything looking great and working well.
We specialize in wood, gas, and pellet fireplace and stove service and repair, and we know the different needs of each appliance type and fuel type. Whether your appliance is old or new, we can help you enjoy a safer, more pleasant fireside experience, year after year.
Is it time to have your appliance serviced? What specific needs does your wood, gas, or pellet fireplace or stove have?
- Woodstove, Fireplace & Insert Cleaning, Service & Repair — Wood-burning appliances and the attached stove pipe or chimney will need to be cleaned to remove any soot or creosote buildup. We’ll also check to make sure your appliance meets all safety codes and standards, and that there is no apparent risk of a chimney or structural fire. Click here to learn more and find out how often you should have your wood-burning appliance cleaned, swept, and serviced.
- Gas Stove, Fireplace, Insert & Log Cleaning, Service & Repair — Just because gas appliances don’t produce creosote doesn’t mean they don’t need to be cleaned regularly. During a gas stove, fireplace, insert, or log service appointment, we’ll remove any soot, buildup, or debris within the unit, clean the glass, replace the rock wool embers in the unit (if necessary and applicable), and make sure the unit looks great and is running at optimal levels. - Pellet Stove & Insert Cleaning, Service & Repair — Like wood-burning and gas appliances, pellet appliances will need to be cleaned and tested regularly, regardless of whether or not it’s your primary source of heat. During a pellet stove or insert service, we’ll check for blockages, remove soot, clean out all of the components and moving parts, and test the appliance to determine safety and performance levels. Regardless of fuel type or appliance type, it’s important that you make regular cleaning, service, inspections, and repairs a part of your home care routine so you can make the best decisions regarding the safety and comfort of your family.
