See What Previous Customers Are Saying!

For the second year in a row. we have been more than pleased with how the Chimney Doctor staff has serviced our wood burning stove and pipes. How they accomplish what they do and not make a mess is beyond me.

Maggie Somerville

The people at The Chimney Doctor are great to work with. They were able to give me an appointment earlier than expected during the busy holiday season, they texted a reminder, called before arriving, and the two men who came made sure to put down cloths to protect my carpets. They did a thorough cleaning and repaired my unusable gas fireplace, all at a reasonable charge. I highly recommend them!

Caprice Laga

Amazing and professional! They are always on time, do great work, are honest and friendly. They suggest services, but are not pushy or intimidating. We will always be repeat customers.

What does “Forever” really mean in your “Forever Warranty”?

Our Forever Warranty means exactly what it says, it has no time limit. This warranty is the best in the business because it is transferable to the next homeowner. A “lifetime warranty”, commonly used by other suppliers, varies in meaning from state to state and comes with a lot of small print. Our Forever Warranty is clear and to the point. No other warranty even comes close.

Some excerpts from the warranty as listed in the liner installation manual:

Use of experimental fuels is not permitted and voids the warranty.

Prior to installation of the lining system thoroughly inspect and clean the chimney. All creosote (including tar glaze creosote), soot, dirt and debris must be removed before the installation of the liner. Thorough cleaning of the chimney is a warranty prerequisite. The chimney must be inspected for cracked, loose or missing- stones, bricks or mortar joints. A chimney that is not structurally sound should not be relined. Make any repairs necessary before proceeding with the installation of the liner.

Maintenance Requirement: It is important that the chimney lining system be checked and cleaned annually. This is for the safety of the homeowner and necessary to meet the warranty requirements. This includes video inspection and sweeping and must be performed on an annual basis by a CSIA Certified Chimney Sweep.
