We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone in Dan’s journey!
As of August 23, 2023, he now serves on the prestigious NFPA 211 Committee on Chimneys, Fireplaces, and Venting Systems for Heat-Producing Appliances.
Dan will be one of only a handful of Installer/Maintainers representing the entire United States on this esteemed committee. His expertise and dedication to the field have earned him this unique opportunity to influence and shape the future of chimney, fireplace, and venting systems standards.
But that’s not all! Dan is actively involved in two UL Committees, where he continues to make a significant impact:
- UL/ULC Standards Technical Committee Member (STP0103) since 2/11/2022: Standards like UL103, UL441, UL641, UL959, UL1738, UL1777, UL2112, and UL2561, covering various aspects of venting systems and chimneys for heating appliances.
- UL/ULC Standards Technical Committee Member (STP0127) since 11/17/2021: Standards such as UL127, UL737, UL907, UL1482, UL1618, UL2115, and UL2162, encompassing factory-built fireplaces, fireplace stoves, accessories, and more.
Dan’s involvement in these committees showcases his commitment to safety, innovation, and excellence in the industry. His dedication to creating and enhancing standards will undoubtedly benefit professionals, code officials, and consumers alike.
